The Cavaliers were the best team in the East for most of this season. But Mitchell, Mobley and Allen all out? This is a very different CLE – and Indiana are no slouch at pace.

Cleveland are huge favourites at 1.07 moneyline with a -16.5 spread, but the injury list is alarming: Donovan Mitchell (Out), Evan Mobley (Out), Jarrett Allen (Out), Max Strus (Out), Craig Porter (Out), Jaylon Tyson (Out). That’s basically the entire rotation. James Harden (21.4 pts last 10) and Donovan Mitchell (23.9, currently out) were the top scorers – Sam Merrill and depth players will have to carry this.

Indiana are missing Aaron Nesmith and Obi Toppin, but their injury list is considerably lighter. Their pace is fast at 107.1 vs Cleveland’s 102.2 – IND faster by 4.9 per the Statz game preview.

Defensively CLE hold a 106.2 rating, but Indiana’s is 114.7 – this is not a great defensive matchup from either side. Total is set at 240.5. With pace factored in, this could go high.

Cleveland’s win rate is 70%, Indiana’s 30% on the season. But the injury context makes that almost irrelevant tonight.

The 1.07 on Cleveland is basically a free money trap – the line doesn’t move until you factor in six starters being out. Indiana at 15.38 is probably too long but the -16.5 spread on a shorthanded CLE side is a significant ask. This one’s best left alone on the moneyline. Under/over 240.5 with fast pace from both sides and depleted defences – lean towards the over.
