Roma vs Como: Predictions, Betting Tips and Preview

14th December 2025

Roma host Como on Monday evening to round off the weekend’s Serie A action. This meeting between two top-six sides sees the Giallorossi looking to bounce back from consecutive 1–0 league defeats and keep pace with the top three. Como, meanwhile, suffered their own setback last time out, losing 4–0 away to Inter Milan in just their second league defeat of the season.

Under Cesc Fàbregas, the visitors could draw level on points with Roma with a win at the Stadio Olimpico. Roma did respond positively in midweek, returning to winning ways in Europe with a convincing 3–0 victory away at Celtic. Evan Ferguson played a key role in that result, scoring twice, and could be one to watch again here.

Team News and H2H

Roma come into this match following their midweek Europa League fixture, but with an extra day of rest compared to usual, rotation is expected to be limited. The upcoming schedule could be a factor as well, with more emphasis on home games in between daunting away trips to Juventus and Atalanta on the horizon. Wesley returned to the bench against Celtic and could be in line for a start here.

For Como, Álvaro Morata is a doubt to start. Though, the experienced forward is still searching for his first goal for the club since joining.

Historically, the home side has won all four Serie A meetings between the two teams. Interestingly, each of those victories finished with the same scoreline, despite more than twenty years separating the fixtures. Last season, Roma won 2–1 at home but were beaten 2–0 in the reverse fixture away.

Roma vs Como: Statz.ai Predictions

This fixture projects as the eighth-highest match for total cards this weekend, making the card markets an appealing angle for value. Both sides are averaging over two cards per game across their last ten matches, with Bet365 offering 5/6 on each team to receive two or more cards. Statz.ai projections also show Como as the more likely of the two sides to feature in the referee’s notebook. Last season’s games were also quite fiery with seven yellows and a red for Como on their last visit.

Como’s away form could be a concern, particularly given their lack of goals on the road outside of a single high-scoring outing. Three of their last five away matches have seen them fail to find the net. With that in mind, a pro-home betbuilder of Roma to win, Como to receive the most cards, and both teams to be shown a card is priced at 3/1.

Roma vs Como: Player Focus

The player card markets could also offer value in this fixture. Jayden Addai projects as the second most likely Como player to be shown a card and is priced at 11/4 with Bet365, which stands up well as a single. On the Roma side, Kostas Tsimikas ranks second in the booking projections. With the two expected to come up against each other on Como’s right flank, a double booking is available at 14/1 and looks particularly appealing.
