First Innings – Rajasthan Royals 205/8 (20 overs)
Yashasvi Jaiswal got RR off to a rapid start with 27 off 17 (three sixes), but the first wicket fell at 33/1 in the 4th over when he was caught off Shardul Thakur. Vaibhav Suryavanshi followed immediately for 4 off 6 at 33/2 in the 5th over.
Riyan Parag blasted 14 off just 8 balls before falling at 54/3, but Dhruv Jurel anchored the middle overs superbly. His 38 off 26 (three fours, two sixes) alongside Dasun Shanaka‘s 29 off 15 (three sixes, SR 193) rebuilt the innings to 99/4 at the halfway mark before Shanaka was run out.
The real fireworks came from Archer at number 8. He smashed 32 off just 15 balls with three sixes and a four at a strike rate of 213, propelling the total from 139/6 to 205/8. Nandre Burger chipped in with an unbeaten 10 off 3 (one six) and Ravindra Jadeja added 19 not out off 11.
For MI, Will Jacks was the most economical with 1/12 from 2 overs (economy 6.00), while Thakur (2/41, economy 10.25) and Deepak Chahar (2/43, economy 10.75) took wickets but went at nearly 11 an over.

MI’s chase started disastrously. Rohit Sharma was caught off Archer for a duck in the first over at 0/1. Naman Dhir fell for 6 at 18/2 in the 3rd over, bowled by Brijesh Sharma. Ryan Rickelton made a quick 12 off 7 before departing at 24/3, and when Tilak Varma was bowled for just 3 off 7 at 38/4 in the 6th over, MI were deep in trouble.
Suryakumar Yadav fought valiantly with 60 off 42 (three fours, four sixes), building a crucial partnership with Jacks (33 off 18, SR 183). Together they hauled MI from 38/4 to 101/5, but the required rate was always climbing. Hardik Pandya blazed 34 off 15 (three fours, two sixes, SR 227) but once he fell at 149/7, it was over.
