Chasing 146, Peshawar Zalmi‘s chase was anything but straightforward. Babar Azam (43 off 37) and Kusal Mendis (27 off 23) provided a foundation, taking the score to 104/3 by the 13th over. Michael Bracewell chipped in with 25 off 19 before Saim Ayub removed both Bracewell and Mendis to leave Zalmi in the deep at 125/6 in the 17th over.
