Calvin Harrison Rips Through Worcestershire as Northamptonshire Win by 100 Runs
Northamptonshire won by 100 runs against Worcestershire in the 12th match of 112 in the T20 Blast 2026 at New Road, Worcester. Calvin Harrison delivered a stunning all-round display – 30 off 20 with the bat followed by 4/17 from 3.4 overs – to demolish the hosts.
First Innings – Northamptonshire 191/10 (20 overs)
Chris Lynn (15 off 13) fell early at 20/1, but Ricardo Vasconcelos (34 off 26) and David Willey (46 off 23, SR 200) put on a rapid second-wicket stand. Willey smashed his way to 97/2 before falling in the 10th over, and Vasconcelos followed soon after at 99/3.
Louis Kimber (14 off 6, SR 233) provided a burst before falling at 114/4, and Saif Zaib went for a duck in the same over at 114/5. But Harrison (30 off 20, SR 150) and Justin Broad (29 off 19, SR 153) rebuilt the lower order superbly, adding 72 for the seventh wicket to push the total to 191.
Adam Finch (3/36) and Matthew Waite (3/42) led the Worcestershire bowling, while Ethan Brookes (1/5 from 1 over) was tidy in his brief spell.
Second Innings – Worcestershire 91/10 (14.4 overs)
Worcestershire’s reply was a disaster from the start. Isaac Mohammed (1 off 7) fell at 10/1, and Brett D’Oliveira (13 off 11) went at 23/2. Adam Hose (2 off 3) departed at 26/3, and when Ethan Brookes (7 off 6) was caught at 34/4, the writing was on the wall.
Kashif Ali (38 off 28, SR 136) and Sikandar Raza (18 off 14) briefly resisted, adding 45 for the fifth wicket. But Harrison then ripped through the lower order with 4/17 from 3.4 overs at an economy of 4.64, including the wickets of Raza (79/6, bowled), Waite (84/7, bowled), and Finch (91/10, the final wicket).
James Sales (3/28 from 4 overs) and Ben Sanderson (2/8 from 2 overs, economy 4.00, one maiden) were equally devastating.
