New Signings

La Liga’s transfer window has brought big moves, with Marcus Rashford becoming the first Englishman to join Barcelona since Gary Lineker. International teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold has signed for fierce rivals Real Madrid, while at the other end of the table former England under-21 international Ovie Ejaria has moved to newly promoted Real Oviedo. Continuing the English theme, former Manchester United trainee Álvaro Carreras arrives at Real Madrid from Benfica as part of their squad regeneration, following Luka Modric’s transfer to AC Milan. Atlético Madrid have also been busy in the transfer market, bringing in Italian international Giacomo Raspadori, Spanish U21 defender Marc Pubill, and American midfielder Johnny Cardoso.

Battle For Supremacy

Statz.ai projects Barcelona to edge Real Madrid by four points and retain their La Liga crown, which goes against bookies’ favourites Real Madrid at odds-on 4/5 (Bet365). The top three could mirror last season, with Atletico Madrid clear of fourth by around ten points. All three title contenders have the potential to break the 100-point barrier, with Barcelona once again pushing for 100+ goals. Athletic Club are tipped to complete the top four, though Villarreal are projected to run them close in fifth once again.
