Arsenal v Bayern Munich: Betting Preview + Predictions

26th November 2025

There’s a fascinating Champions League clash at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday evening as Arsenal welcome Bayern Munich.

These two sides are romping to their respective league titles, but both will be rather keen to challenge for the Champions League trophy as well.

Who will enhance their own chances and dent their opponents’ on Wednesday (20:00 GMT)?

Arsenal vs Bayern Munich Preview

They’ve benefitted from Liverpool’s fall from grace, but it’s hard to argue with Arsenal’s credentials this term.

They top the Premier League table after 12 rounds of games, averaging two goals scored per game and 0.5 conceded per 90 minutes – title-winning form, it’s fair to say.

Bayern have been equally as strong in the Bundesliga, winning nine of their ten games played so far and recording a whopping goal difference of +33.

As a bit of extra spice, Bayern knocked Arsenal out of the 2023/24 Champions League, so will it be revenge or repeat in the capital?

Arsenal vs Bayern Munich: Statz Projections

Fire up the Statz projection model and you’ll note that Arsenal have been made the slight favourite, courtesy of a goal supremacy of 1.5-1.13.

Of the projections, perhaps the most intriguing are that Arsenal are tipped to out-shoot their German opponents and win more corners.

But the most eye-catching number, certainly from a betting perspective, is the projected 32 tackles… there should be some juice in that for punters.

Arsenal v Bayern Munich Betting Tips

Arsenal are priced at around 6/5 to win this game, which based on our projections is a fair enough price… but not one you’d necessarily want to back, given Bayern’s array of match winners.

This is one of those frustrating games where our projections align with the bookmakers’ odds, so there’s plenty of chances around the 4/6 mark that are strong but perhaps lacking in value.

But we can use our model’s prediction that Bayern will be shown more cards than Arsenal, which is available at a juicier price of 6/5 with Bet365.

And there seems to be scope in that tackles market too. We’re projecting 17 from Arsenal and 15 from Bayern, so let’s roll back slightly for a margin of error and back the double: Arsenal Over 14.5 Tackles and Bayern Over 13.5 Tackles at 10/11.

·   Bayern Most Cards (6/5)

·   Arsenal Over 14.5 Tackles & Bayern Over 13.5 Tackles (10/11)

Arsenal v Bayern Munich Bet Builder

Let’s lean even further into that data with a tackles-based bet builder.

Our modelling for this game predicts that EIGHT players will average two or more. We don’t think that Christian Norgaard or Tom Bischof will play, while there has to be doubts about Mikel Merino’s position if Viktor Gyokeres is passed fit.

But the other five will probably start… and you can easily combine them as a bet builder.

·   Jurrien Timber – 2+ Tackles

·   Piero Hincapie – 2+ Tackles

·   Martin Zubimendi – 2+ Tackles

·   Konrad Laimer – 2+ Tackles

·   Aleksandar Pavlovic – 2+ Tackles

This coupon pays around 4/1, but with bet365’s 30% winnings boost on bet builders that will go up to just shy of 5/1!
